Hydroxyapatite is a natural mineral that makes up to 97% of human enamel and bone. This amazing ingredient, also known as “liquid enamel” has an extraordinary remineralising effect on teeth.

Hydroxyapatite has been proven to treat tooth sensitivity as its particles are absorbed by the tubules of dentin and plug the exposed areas. This eliminates the pain and discomfort of sensitive teeth. This tubule filling process creates a new layer that remineralises the enamel, protects its surface and prevents the development of new cavities.

In addition to hydroxyapatite, our new Sensitive Toothpaste has added another extremely powerful anti-sensitivity ingredient, potassium nitrate. It is a natural ingredient that is proven to work against tooth sensitivity. Potassium ions penetrate the exposed tubules of dentin and reach the nerves of the teeth. Over time, the accumulated potassium ions eliminate painful sensitivity in the dental pulp, thus making it more resistant to sensitivity stimuli.
